Four cottages
A quiet retreat inthe hills of Munnar.
Four cottages, a forest, and a lake — tucked away from the town.
RosaryNest is a small family-run retreat in the hills above Munnar, where forest meets valley meets water. Built by a family that has farmed this land for three generations, it is a place to slow down — not to tick things off a list.
The Land
A south-facing fold of forest above the valley below, with a lake at its foot and a dam beyond. The town is twenty minutes the other way; here, no one is hurrying anywhere.
Walk the property →The Cottages
Four cottages — Tarry, Scarlet, Sparrow, and Eyrie — each named for what it feels like to stay there. Long windows, warm beds, no televisions; some keep a fireplace for the cold months. Beds are dressed in linen; mornings begin with tea.
See the cottages →The Experiences
Stargazing on the lawn, bonfires when the mist allows, dinners cooked from the garden and the morning's market. Nothing scheduled. Everything optional.

Ways to spend a slow day.

Bonfire & Stargazing
On clear nights at this elevation, the stars in Munnar feel close enough to disturb.

Farm-to-Table Dining
Simple food, mostly from what grows here.

Lake Walks
A short walk from the cottage, under ten minutes. Often the best part of the day.

Forest Trails
The forest is older than the cottages. Walk into it slowly.
The Pool
A quiet plunge pool on the upper terrace, for the few afternoons Munnar gets properly warm.
Sometimes the whole place is the plan.
