A short downhill walk, under ten minutes, through tea bushes and wildflowers to a small clearing with a wooden seat by the water. Mirror-still on clear mornings, mist-veiled in fog — herons show up sometimes, or it's just you and the water. Come at dawn, midday, or golden hour; nothing about it is scheduled.
